Table Mountain From The Car

A Pyramid Scheme

A friend pointed this out to me.

I was going to ask "Do you notice…" but then I put two big red circles around the things I wanted you to notice.

I find it rather amusing that the ashtray and the no smoking sign are in such close proximity. It would be ok if the ashtray was there so that people who saw the sign could quickly extinguish the cigarette. But alas that is not how it works.

    Winter in Cape Town

    I’ve heard it said many times “The only winter weather you can expect in Cape Town is Wet and cold”

    This is the drive in to work yesterday:

    (I was a little earlier this morning so the sun had not yet kissed the top of the mountain)

    Cold (crisp) possibly, but not wet.
    Weekends in Cape Town are almost always guaranteed to be wet and miserable :)
